    I have a feature request…
    Add a new gauge labeled (wind/hydro)
    (Total charging power – solar charging power)

    • You can do this when you have the WhizbangJr current monitor and one classic for solar and another for Wind. The System tab will display the total power/consumption and the power tab will display the power for the selected classic.
      This was added in release 2.3 of the app.

      • I have (1) Classic with (1) whizbang jr and a wind turbine (with his own control) which is connected to the shunt, so the whizbang can measure everything that is going in or out of the battery bank. Since the (PV input) power is measured inside the classic and the (net power) is measured by the whizbang shunt we can do the following calculation to calculate the Wind/hydro/charger power, will call it (OTHER input) : NET power – PV power – Basic load = OTHER input

        Example : Net power = +1400W, PV input=1000W, Basic load=100W
        So Other power= 300W
        Consumption = N/A (Because negative)

        Example: Net power = -200W, PV input=400W, Basic load=100W
        So Other power= N/A (Because negative)
        Consumption= 600W

        Example: Net power = +6000W, PV input=1200W, Basic load=100W
        So Other power= 4700W
        Consumption= N/A (Because negative)

        This calculation is not always exact, because the load may vary, but in many houses or cabin, the basic load is almost always the same 24/24… So simply by adding this variable (Basic load) with user input box and the gauge (Other input) would be accurate ‘’most of the time’’…

  4. Unfortunately, these changes would affect everyone else that is using the app.
    The code is open source on github, you can take a copy and make a custom change for your system, you’ll also need Android Studio and the SDKs
